Azteca America announces the premiere of the new reality show La Isla beginning this Monday, August 27 at 8pm hosted by Alejandro Lukini. Twelve celebrities will face extreme challenges in a struggle to be the last survivor on the island. Contestants will need to triumph in these intense contests in order to earn privileges on the heavenly and isolated Caribbean isle, on which theyll live during the competition. Actress Ivonne Montero, Venezuelan actor Daniel Elbittar, Mexican actress Mariana Torres, actor and host Rafael Mercadante, former La Academia contestant Yanilen, Mexican presidential debate usher Julia Orayen, political activist Rafael Acosta Juanito, rock star daughter Celia Lora, track cyclist Belem Guerrero, soccer player Adolfo El Bofo Bautista, boxer Jorge El Travieso Arce, and television host Ricardo Casares will be the competing celebrities.
