César Conde announces the first Univision Studios and Televisa co-production at Univision’s Upfront: Va Para Ti

Univision Networks’ president, César Conde, presented programming for Univision, UniMás, and Galavisión to a full theater at Upfront, for the 2013-2014 season in the areas of fiction, entertainment, newscasts, sports and specials.With the slogan One for All, Conde later explained its meaning to PRODU, and announced the first Univision Studios and Televisa co-production: Va Para Ti, a multiplatform format. Additionally, with much enthusiasm he presented La Tempestad, a soap opera from Televisa starring idol William Levy and the Mexican Miss Universe, Ximena Navarrete. The actors were also present at the event, and while standing on stage, a storm of confetti created a dramatic atmosphere. Another soap opera from Televisa, Libre Para Amarte with Gloria Trevi, was presented along with Mentir para Vivir and Corazón Indomable, a remake of the successful Marimar. Conde also shared that the TVyNovelas Awards will broadcast simultaneously in México. And, Despierta América, has achieved a number 1 ranking in the U.S., dominating the Anglos channels that compete for the same time slot. UniMás is a channel that Conde categorized as having a core audience between 18-34; this segment of the population has grown 26% across the U.S. Finally, he shared previews of La Madame y La Viuda Negra from Televisa and RTI, La Selección de Caracol, Gossip Girl Acapulco from El Mall de Pedro Torres, and Metástasis from Sony.
