14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards reaches 9.8 million viewers on Univision

Thursday night’s event delivered an average audience of 4.6 million Total Viewers 2+

The biggest names in Latin music gathered last Thursday night at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas for the 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, while 9.8 million viewers tuned in to all or part of the three-hour live broadcast on the Univision Network.Thursday night’s event delivered an average audience of 4.6 million Total Viewers 2+, 2.4 million Adults 18-49 and 1.2 million Adults 18-34 and positioned Univision as the No. 2 broadcast network among Adults 18-34, outperforming CBS, NBC and FOX. It also made Univision the No. 3 broadcast network for the entire night among Adults 18-49, ahead of NBC and FOX. The Latin Grammy Awards on Univision attracted more Hispanic viewers in the demographic groups of Viewers 2+ and Adults 18-49 than the combined audience of the 2013 editions of the Billboard Music Awards, MTV Video Music Awards and the Country Music Awards.
