Canal Once: 2014 will become a milestone in the surge of public TV channels in Mexico

Canal Once celebrated its 55th anniversary with a reception at the channels facilities in Mexico City. In her welcome speech, channel director Enriqueta Cabrera said this year would bring important changes for public television, which would allow them to compete directly with pay-TV channels.2014 will become a milestone in the surge of public TV channels in Mexico, with greater opportunities and a leveled playing field with pay-TV, said Cabrera, adding that the telecommunications reform would facilitate these goals because it opens a new horizon and represents an important change in this area.
