Colombian writer Gustavo Bolívar prepares ambitious project to enter the U.S. film market

Colombian author and screenwriter Gustavo Bolívar, known for works such as Sin Tetas No Hay Paraíso (book, movie, series), Pandillas Guerra y Paz, Tres Caínes and El Capo 1,2 and 3, is planning to make an ambitious film to be shot in the U.S. The screenplay is currently being translated before it’s presented to film producers.“We’re looking at projects to develop with FOXTelecolombia, but I’m focusing more in writing for film. My dream is to create a niche in U.S. with bold, high budget films. It’s a long road, but I’m up for the challenge,” Bolívar told PRODU.“We recently premiered El Capo 3 on RCN, the first Colombian series to reach a third season, of which I can honestly say is the best because of its production values, acting and script,” added Bolívar.
