Televisa: Antes Muerta que Lichita is the name of producer Rosy Ocampo’s new telenovela

Televisa continues to bet on comedy stories for its 8pm schedule on the Canal de las Estrellas, and therefore, it is preparing its new original production together with producer Rosy Ocampo, under the title Antes Muerta que Lichita, which will replace Emilio Larrosa´s Amores con Trampa in the same schedule for the second semester of 2015.In statements to several Televisa programs, Ocampo stated that “this is a story that has not been told before. It talks about the life of Lichita, a complicated character because she is a sad woman who is humiliated, but her life takes a turn and she has a great change. We have already written half the story, which allows us to correct mistakes and fine tune it”, she said.She added that the locations would be in Mexico City, beaches of that country and in Los Angeles, California.Regarding the cast, she said that the star must be someone who is able to adapt to the character´s complication, which is why on this list there are possible names such as Aisslin Derbez, Ariadne Díaz y Maite Perroni, while for the male lead role she said it could not be Jaime Camil, who is shooting the CBS series Jane the Virgin.
