The Televisa producer Nicandro Díaz announced, without offering any details, that he is already working on a new project for TV, based on a European story. He assured that the main challenge for content generators is to create stories that can be delivered across all platforms and that comply with the current consumption demand. “I am working on a new project but it still not authorized by the company. It is a story that still hasn’t been made in Mexico, but it has been in Europe. In the end, what I aim to highlight is that it is not only an original product, but also a good story. There still isn’t a specific date yet, we are doing preliminary desk work”, he said.Regarding new content consumption habits, Díaz emphasized that evolution in the way of producing content must evolve, since “human being’s characteristics will always be the same, but we must attack from all sides to capture the audience”.To conclude, the producer said that this new experimentation stage in the production of short telenovelas, “is due to the evolution of the audience and the media, it seems they are moving faster than we are as creators. That is why it is important to never cease in the quest for the fine point in the generation of products that people want to watch”.
