The actress Alicia Machado is back in Los Angeles with the intention of starting as a producer

The renown Alicia Machado told PRODU that she is back in Los Angeles aiming to resume her studies in TV and Film production and direction, as well as to start a new stage in her career: theater, film and TV production. “I have three stories in my hands, in one, my role is the writer. That one is very advanced regarding financing and some production companies have shown interest in it”, she explained.Also, April 30th she will travel to Spain where she will be the star in a period film, a Spanish-US co-production called San Juan el Más Amado, in which she plays the role of the villain.“Without realizing it, I’ve been producing for 20 years, because I always get involved in my jobs. I´ve been producer of my records, I was a co-producer in La Madame, which I did in Colombia, I’ve produced a great deal of theater. So I have valuable experience that I can make the most of, after 16 novelas and more than 40 productions”.Another advantage of returning to Los Angeles is the development of her line of lingerie. “I am very excited, because it is a huge change in my life and also represents interesting opportunities for my daughter”, she expressed.Machado explained that she wants to venture more into theater and produce in that area. “I have the idea to bring good Hispanic theater to Los Angeles”.
