The Chilean youtuber Germán Garmendia two YouTube diamond play buttons, the highest award given by the platform to content creators and the story is barely starting. After the success of his channel Hola Soy Germán (more than 28 million subscribers) and Juega Germán (more than 13 million), the Internet star is now exploring other territories with a book and a film.The last video he uploaded to his main channel achieved more than 9 million views in two weeks and he owes this to how genuine his work is: I have turned down some brands because they don’t resemble me and I don’t want to be disloyal to the Hola Soy Germán concept. I created the channel with the intention of allowing people to make fun of everyday life and in time, the topics have become more mature.Garmendia writes, records and edits the material for his main channel, however, he has the support of a team for the rest of his projects. Next year, I’m going to shoot a film that will explore another topic. This doesn’t mean that I am going to stop creating content for my channels.For the influencer, it is necessary to have much more than the wish to achieve fame and money in order to become a youtuber. He assures that it is a path of study, steadfastness and hard work, as it is in order to achieve any goal in life.
