Azteca America finished June as the fastest growing Spanish-language network in prime time among key demos, including Total Viewers (+41%), Adults 18-49 (+52%) and Adults 18-34 (+67%), according to Nielsen. The network also delivered its highest June ratings in four years across total viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. The network’s primetime lineup saw significant double and triple-digit year-over-year growth. Desafío Marruecos was up +88%, while Al Extremo delivered a +18% increase and Kaçak delivered +200% growth for the time period. Additionally, at 7pm The Winning Hour’s Escape Perfecto and Ahora Caigo grew +63%. In addition, Azteca reached 3.2 million Total Viewers and 1.5 million Adults 18-49 in primetime for the month. Viewer engagement was the main driver of growth, with Adults 18-49 tuning in with 36% higher frequency and spending 51% more time with respect to average minutes with Azteca.
