Season two of {La Banda;www.produ.com/television/videos/index.html?noti=11528}(13×120), the popular music-based reality-competition developed by Univision Network, SYCO Entertainment and Saban Brands, returns to Univision Network on Sunday, September 11 at 8pm ET/PT (7pm CT). Global superstar Laura Pausini is joined by award-winning star Mario Domm, founder of the Mexican pop rock group, Camila and popular Urban music artist Wisin as judges of this new season. The talented Alejandra Espinoza returns as host. The second season promises to be bigger than before with an expanded talent search that includes both boys and girls.After the success of the first season of La Banda, we are taking season two to the next level with the addition of girls as contestants and with another all-star judging panel. With Wisin and Mario Domm, and Lauras and Alejandras return, the contestants will benefit from a broad range of musical expertise and be motivated to achieve their full potential, says Cisco Suárez, SVP and executive producer, Special Events, Univision Communications Inc. In its first full season run, La Banda was a resounding success and reached 18.8 million total viewers. The show concluded with the blockbuster debut of the winning band CNCO, which has toured throughout the U.S. and Latin America to adoring fans. Their first single Tan Fácil, produced by Wisin, soared to No. 1 on Billboards Latin Airplay chart.
