Centroamérica TV will unveil a new logo, on-air look, and graphics package on September 15, 2018, coinciding with the network’s 14th anniversary.
“Centroamérica TV has been serving the U.S.-based Central American community for the past 14 years, keeping them connected to the cultures and traditions of their native countries. To thank our viewers for their continued loyalty, we are thrilled to introduce a fresh and more modern ‘look and feel’ to the network that embodies the cultural essence of the Central American countries we represent,” said Francisco Giménez, SVP and general manager of Cable Networks of Hemisphere Media Group, Inc., the network’s parent company.
The new graphics package features a vibrant and warm color palette that celebrates the cultural richness and lush landscapes of Central America’s diverse countrysides. The updated logo will evolve from Centroamérica TV to CATV and will present a modernized version of the hand. The network will maintain its tagline, Estás con Tu Gente (You’re with your People).
The rebrand efforts were led by Marina Dimitrius, Centroamérica TV’s director of Cable Programming, who tapped 2C to create the network’s new image.
“Our programs evoke feelings of nostalgia among our audience, and we wanted our new look to reinforce those emotions. Our viewers are very attached to their native countries, and we needed our look to convey that with Centroamérica TV, you are closer to your country, closer to your family and friends, closer to your town, and closer to the things that you miss the most from home,” said Dimitrius.
