Ultra Film presents political intrigue movie with biggest Hollywood stars

Premiering a new movie every day, Ultra Film ushers in 2019 with top French, Italian, Canadian and US titles spanning the genres of action, suspense, drama, comedy, and romance. Ultra Film distinguishes itself as the prime HD movie network for the Latino audience with new US releases featuring powerful performances by Elijah Wood, Patrick Swayze, Timothy Bottoms, Michael York, Jeff Fahey and the late former wrestler Roddy Piper.

In one of his last and possibly best performances, Patrick Swayze shines on January 14 at 9pm EST in Ícono (Icon). This action drama, based on the novel by Frederick Forsyth, presents Swayze as Jason Monk, a former CIA agent that comes back from retirement to investigate the corruption, political and social chaos in Russia after that fall of communism. Directed by Charles Martin Smith. Also starring Michael York, Annika Peterson, Ben Cross and Jeff Fahey.

Directed by Ralph Hemecker and starring Kim Raven, Rick Roberts and Niamh Wilson. Sarah draws the haunting portrait of a mother who loses her young son.

1/4 – 9pm EST
Biographical drama directed by Robert Ackerman that reviews the private life and political career of former US President Ronald Regan.

Día Cero (Day Zero)
1/5 – 9pm EST
A dramatic film about three friends that receive mandatory draft letters from the US government during the Vietnam war. They only have 30 days to discover the true value of life, family and friendship leaving home. Directed by Bryan Gunnar Cole and starring Elijah Wood, Chris Klein, Jon Bernthal, Elisabeth Moss, and Ally Sheedy.

4 Expertas en Bodas (Four Wedding Experts)
1/7 – 9pm EST
A hilarious comedy about a wedding planner that tries to juggle keeping her business afloat while helping her oldest daughter overcome a difficult breakup. Directed by Michael Kang. Stars Illeana Douglas, Kimberly Walter, Mia Riverton, and Christopher Taloa.

The family film directed by Tim Nelson and starring Scotty Leavenworth, Marc Jeffries and AJ Michalka.

Deja El Pasado Atrás (Leave the Past Behind)

Seeking a fresh start, a short-story writer moves into a house she inherited from her grandmother. But the old house triggers frightening childhood memories she would prefer to have kept forgotten. Suspense drama directed by William Dickerson. Stars Kate Burton, Cassidy Freeman, Tyler McCluskey and Roddy Piper.

La Historia de Elizabeth Smart (The Elizabeth Smart Story)

Based on the life story of Elizabeth Smart, the 13-year old girl that was kidnapped in 2002 by two deranged individuals, one of which believed he was God. Directed by Bobby Roth. Starring Dylan Banker, Lindsay Frost, Amber Marshall, and Tom Everett.
