Paramount: We want to join Telefe to produce in Latin America

Dan Cohen, president of Worldwide Home Entertainment and TV Distribution at Paramount, expresed that the company´s intention is to get closer to the region to produce.

“We are making larger and better films and series. Our idea is to make more things in Latin America. We are discussing about producin local original content and would want to join Telefe, a company that has great production facilities and is part of the Viacom family. We are currently in conversations, still without a clear idea,” expressed Cohen.

Regarding their bets for the region, the executive assured that their iconic films and great productions continue to drive their business in the region: Mission Impossible, Transformers, Rocketman. “Rocketman is a film we are very proud of. The same as the series Catch-22, that is about to be launched. We did a hard job because we do not know how to do it otherwise.”
