Delines Batlle-Alonso named VP of News for Telemundo 60/KVDA in San Antonio

Delines Batlle-Alonso will leave her current role as Assistant News Director for Telemundo 47 in New York / WNJU to become the new VP of News for KVDA, effective July 22. She will report directly to Robert Sarabia, president, and general manager of Telemundo 60.

In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing the station’s newsroom, including all multi-platform news operations and performance.

“Delines brings a unique combination of leadership and operations experience, plus extensive knowledge of the field. She has the understanding and vision to lead KVDA into future successes and keep providing to our audiences the news that they expect and deserve,” said Sarabia.

Batlle-Alonso is a news professional with more than 20 years of experience in the local broadcast industry. She joins KVDA after serving as executive producer and assistant news director for WNJU, where she played a critical role in the ratings growth and continued success of the station’s newscasts.
