Kanal D Drama strengthens presence in LatAm

THEMA America announced that Kanal D Drama has been added to the cable offerings of Movistar Peru. This strategic alliance will allow more than 1 million subscribers in Peru to enjoy a wide variety of titles from the best Turkish dramas.
Starting this month, registered users of Movistar Peru will be able to tune into Kanal D Drama through Basic SD on channel 21 of their cable platform.
“Interest in many Turkish series is booming throughout Latin America, including in Peru, where our titles have been well received and are a great audience success. We are very pleased to deepen our relationship with Movistar Peru through this strategic agreement so that its thousands of Peruvian users can now enjoy the first and only channel that brings together the best Turkish dramas in Spanish, completely in HD,” said Patrick Rivet, CEO of THEMA America.

Kanal D Drama offers over 1,500 hours of a variety of dramas and successful Turkish series in Spanish. Among the major titles are Amor Prohibido, Tormenta de Pasiones, Por Mi Hijo, and Asya, among others.
