Director Carlos Quintanilla enters Telemundo

Carlos Quintanilla

Carlos Quintanilla, one of the young Mexican talents in the area of writing and directing, has entered Telemundo in Miami as part of the development team.

He comes from Lemon Media in Mexico City, where he was outstanding in research and product development for Netflix. There, he also created the first showrunners course. Previously, he wrote successfully for Televisa, Sony Latin America, and Azteca, where he began at the Cefat (Centro de Formación de Actores para Televisión).

PRODU has been covering him since 2014, when he began web series for Azteca, such as Amor a Ciegas. Later, in 2015, PRODU celebrated his victory upon winning first prize at the BajaWebFest with La Cena, a series written and directed by him which he also did for Azteca. In a #VisitaPRODU he revealed that at the age of 16 he started writing radionovelas. He is related to Raúl Quintanilla, known in Azteca as Maestro Quintanilla for his outstanding professional career in the direction and training of young talent.
