NBCUniversal: We doubled our content investment

In the framework of the Telemundo Studios screening, Beau Ferrari, chairman of NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, said that they are a production engine, the largest producers of scripted content in Spanish in the US and the second world-class distributor of content in Spanish. He highlighted that they were the first US Hispanic studio to go back to production after the beginning of the pandemic.

He said that they continued to deliver more than 3,800 hours of entertainment, news and sports every year. “NBCUniversal, powered by Telemundo, reaches 9 out of 10 Hispanics in the US every month—more than any other media company.”

A month ago they announced Tplus, their premium content label in Spanish within Peacock that will be launched around Telemundo’s coverage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup later this year. “We are doubling the content investment and redefining the media scenario,” Ferrari said.
