Black Sheep Productions: We closed First Look Agreement with Vince Gerardis’ Startling and currently developing 12 projects

Mónica Aguirre, who has been in the industry for more than 17 years and launched Black Sheep Productions last January, signed a first look deal with Vince Gerardis, executive producer of Game of Thrones, and currently they are developing 12 projects: fiction series, movies and documentaries.
Aguirre, in EN VIVO interview with Ríchard Izarra, said that they came to Iberseries because part of the mission of Black Sheep and Gerardis’ production company, Startling, is to buy and/or sell projects. “We are looking for interesting projects that we can produce, co-produce, go into development or see how we can generate synergy with different production companies,” she said.
She recalled her time in Telemundo. “It was a great school, I had great teachers, I met many people from the industry and I am now very well received. It is a blessing to have an important first look deal with someone I admire so much, a world-famous producer who has just released House of Dragons, one of the most watched series in the world.”
Aguirre said that her production company is based in Miami and the agreement with Startling applies to Latin America and the US Hispanic. “Things are coming next year,” she concluded.
