Luciano Foppoli, who for 23 years worked at América TV in Argentina -the last seven in Programming Management in the team created by Liliana Parodi- joined Juan Crespo’s 3C Films three months ago as director of Production and Acquisitions.

In 2021, Foppoli began filming the musical Melody la Chica del Metro, a creation of José Luis Pagan co-produced by Warner Music Entertainment and Trinity Entertainment. Presented at Content Americas 2023, the show debuted on Prime Video throughout the American continent in February. Foppoli was the general producer of the series.

“The plan is to promote 3C Films, a company that develops films and series and sells content. We are already in a new post-production sector: colorimetry, editing, EFX, dubbing and subtitling, and audiovisual branding. This gives us flexibility for internal and third parties projects,” expressed Foppoli.

He mentioned that 3C Films has an extensive catalog with more than 400 titles.

Foppoli announced that they are working on several new projects, including an alliance with a crucial Asian distributor to promote Asian content throughout Latin America, several agreements for the aggregation of prominent clients in Latin America; two series in the pre-production stage, and the development of a significant musical event for November in Argentina. “Beyond audiovisuals, we are also getting involved in shows.”

3C Films is also considering creating a bridge between Europe and Latin America in sales and acquisitions of Latin material. “And reviewing a lot of European material from Finland, Germany, Eastern Europe, to offer things not very to aligned with the Latin American vision, even Asian.”

Foppoli also commented they are working on the development of a FAST Channel.

He has plans to attend MIP Cancun and Content Americas 2024, among other markets.
