ViendoMovies presents a film cycle dedicated to the Colombian actress Juana Acosta every Sunday in April

The cycle will feature four films
The channel ViendoMovies is dedicating a film cycle to the Colombian actress Juana Acosta, a recognized Latin talent in the contemporary Spanish film industry. It will feature the following films on Sundays throughout the month: Las Consecuencias (2021), El Inconveniente (2020), Llegaron de Noche (2022), and Ola de Crímenes (2018).
Acosta was born in Cali, Valle del Cauca, Colombia, on November 28, 1976 where she began her acting career. She currently resides in Spain, where her entire acting career has unfolded.
On Sunday, April 7, ViendoMovies premieres the film Las Consecuencias (Spain, 2021), directed by Claudia Pinto. This production participated in the 24th Malaga Film Festival in 2021, where it was nominated for Best Film. It is a story that unfolds during a journey to a small volcanic island, where Fabiola becomes a spy in her own home.
Following this film is El Inconveniente (Spain, 2020) on Sunday, April 14. Directed by Bernabé Rico and also starring Kiti Mánver, the movie tells the story of Sara, who is offered the opportunity to buy the perfect house: spacious, very bright, and extremely affordable. The only small inconvenience? Lola, the octogenarian current owner, will continue living there until she passes away.
The Juana Acosta cycle concludes on the last two Sundays with the film Llegaron de Noche (Spain, 2022), directed by Imanol Uribe. Scheduled for Sunday, April 21, the movie was nominated at the 25th Malaga Film Festival in 2022 for Best Film. The movie tells the true story of Lucía, a witness to the massacre of Jesuits in El Salvador.
Finally, on Sunday, April 28, ViendoMovies will present the film Ola de Crímenes (Spain, 2018). In this movie, Leyre’s (Maribel Verdú) teenage son, a comfortably divorced homemaker, impulsively kills his father. Leyre goes to great lengths to conceal the crime, unwittingly unleashing a wave of crimes in the city of Bilbao. Meanwhile, the deceased’s new wife (Paula Echevarría) and her relentless lawyer (Juana Acosta) try to hide the juicy corruption plot they were involved in. Little did they know that the determined Ertzaintza inspectors (Antonio Resines and Raúl Peña) assigned to the case would unravel the mystery.
