CallPal is a new app that offers companies to monetize -in a simple and efficient way- the most used telecommunication component: a telephone call. Rodrigo Fernández, Marketing & Advertising Global Director at CallPal explained to PRODU that it’s the first app able to monetize broadcasting time, because it’s basically a free call done using speakers or Bluetooth, inviting the user to read the screen. “It’s the first time clients will be able to see ads while talking on the phone. At the same time, we have some brand channels that people can follow, and all the information that the client uploads to that site will be available automatically to those who follow that channel” Fernandez said. The platform began to be developed a year and a half ago, it has been on air for a month and it’s available for Android and iPhone. “For the first time one platform has a combination of media and telecommunications. The app allows the client to create its campaign in a matter of seconds, being able to upload image and message.” He said also that brands can manage their own budget. “Clients are free to run many campaigns at the same time, do segmentation, change the message, and they themselves are in charge of managing their own budget.”
