Javier Campopiano from S&S NY: Returning to New York to lead an agency is one of those second opportunities that rarely happen in our professional lives

Two renown Hispanics, Javier Campopiano and Andrea Disquez will lead Saatchi & Saatchi New York, as the new CCO and CEO, respectively. Campopiano expressed to PRODU that he felt happy with the new designation. “Returning to New York to direct an agency creatively is one of those second opportunities that rarely happen in our professional lives. You can’t say no. Additionally, I am going to do it together with Andrea Disquez, that is an incredible woman, a first-class professional and someone I share the same values regarding our profession and the satisfaction of producing great job” he said. Campopiano and Disquez will replace Brent Smart and Jay Benjamin, starting September 1st. The announcement was made on the afternoon of Monday August 29.“New York is the market that reflects what is the U.S. like no other. The energy, the pressure and the ambitions. Everything at a large scale. I believe the main point is, trying to find your own vision to justify your presence in that huge machinery. That’s what I’m going to do” stated Campopiano. Campopiano served as SVP and CCO in Conill. Previously, he had the role of COO in Del Campo S&S on 2014 and Saatchi & Saatchi Latin America. In less than a year, he managed to consolidate a team that earned three Lions in the 62nd edition of Cannes Lions.
