Univision Contigo presenta anuncios para su campaña de concientización sobre ayuda financiera estudiantil

Univision Communications introduced a new public service consisting of advertisements as part of its multiplatform campaign called: {¡Estudia, hay dinero!;http://noticias.univision.com/video/574897/2015-02-17/educacion/videos/estudia-hay-dinero-fafsa-primera-dama-michelle-obama-don-francisco-univision-educacion?ctx_t=collection&ctx_v=4a07038776998ec41419d815239ce63e~26fba7fb83f760ef1a025fc5e8e2f8e5} The ads will air on all Univision’s broadcast and cable networks from February 28. The campaign was developed to raise awareness among Latino high school students and their families as to available financial aid options upon filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The campaign voices are famous personalities such as Michelle Obama, United States’ First Lady; Don Francisco, host of the Sábado Gigante TV show, as well as Congresspeople Carlos Curbelo (Florida); Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (Florida), and Nydia Velázquez (Nueva York). Although an analysis from the Pew Research Center on new data of the United States Census Office revealed that high school graduation and college enrollment amongst Latinos rates are high, many students believe that higher education costs are the main barrier to obtain a degree and complete their college studies. Every year, US$150 billion intended for federal student aid are left unclaimed. There is still lack of awareness among the youths about available resources for them; that’s why Univision’s campaign {¡Estudia, hay dinero!;http://noticias.univision.com/video/574897/2015-02-17/educacion/videos/estudia-hay-dinero-fafsa-primera-dama-michelle-obama-don-francisco-univision-educacion?ctx_t=collection&ctx_v=4a07038776998ec41419d815239ce63e~26fba7fb83f760ef1a025fc5e8e2f8e5} aims to inform and highlight all the available options: scholarships, student loans, and work-study programs.
