Hispanicize’s founder is honored with the Miami Magnet Award 2014

Manny Ruiz, Hispanicize companies’ president, was awarded with the Miami Magnet Award 2014 for the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau (GMCVB) last Friday, May 16th.This annual award is given to those who host important congresses and conventions that impact Greater Miami and its beaches positively.The fifth Hispanicize event was held from April 1st to 4th in Miami’s InterContinental Hotel. More than 1,700 Hispanic journalists, bloggers, marketers, music artists, cinema makers, entrepreneurs and celebrities participated in the ceremony.This is the third consecutive year that the Hispanicize events is held in Greater Miami. News about the Hispanicize 2015, including the name of the hotel and dates, will be son announced.The Miami Magnet program started more than 20 years ago to encourage local residents to promote Greater Miami with their respective associations, corporations and memberships.Other awarded people with the Miami Magnet Award of this year include Burton Landy for hosting the International Council for Commercial Stock-trading; Peter Clarke for the High Security Engineering Systems Conference; Jose Rojas for the National Association of Minorities and Women owners of Law Firms Meeting and David Schwartz for the Anti-Money Laundering Conference of Florida’s International Bankers Association.
