Vera: Modificamos las categorías para ser más influyentes y representativos

The Circulo Creativo and the Association of Hispanic Advertising Agencies, or AHAA, have announced that creative works are now being accepted until April 1 to compete for the 2nd annual U.S.H. Idea Awards, with the winners to be announced on April 30, 2013, at this year’s AHAA Conference in association with FIAP. “We’re excited to celebrate the creative excellence of Hispanic advertising in the United States across all disciplines at the U.S.H. We’ve modified the categories to be more inclusive and more representative of the wide variety of creative work that our industry now has to show,” said Claudio Vera, president of the Circulo Creativo and creative director of Casanova Pendrill. The awards categories have been altered this year, with more subcategories in TV, the separation of digital and mobile creativity from filmed entries, an additional subcategory within graphic media for live events and experimental marketing, as well as another four digital subcategories that highlight the evolution and fundamental role of digital creativity today, plus a new “design” category that will include a diversity of pieces such as logos, catalogs, leaflets, packaging and more. For his part, Roberto Orci, AHAA president and executive director of Acento Advertising, said “the U.S.H. Idea Awards is a great platform for showing the best creative work of our industry while introducing it to international audiences.”
