Jon Secada: me uno a Toyota para promover un estilo de vida más consciente

A new Toyota program provides the means to raise environmental awareness among the Hispanic community in the United States. The campaign is being developed with the aid of such influential Hispanic personalities as Jon Secada, Chloe Bridges, Julian Gil, Candela Ferro, Ana Flores, Omar Germenos, Daniel Elbittar, Yarel Ramos, Gina Rodriguez and Diana Franco. The Hispanic community will be able to follow on Twitter and Facebook the lives of these personalities and their adventures in the Toyota Prius, as the celebs promote a way of life that is friendlier to the environment. The campaign kicked off May 14 in Los Angeles and on May 23 in Miami.”Partnering with Toyota was a natural fit because the company’s commitment to environment echoes my own personal beliefs” says Secada. “I’m excited to join the brand in encouraging the Hispanic community to continue to embrace a greener lifestyle”.The program will include the Toyota Prius family of vehicles and its innovative hybrid technology. Over the past 10 years, Prius owners in the U.S. could have saved enough fuel to drive around the world approximately 2,065,748 times, due in part to its estimated 50 miles per gallon.David Chung, national manager of targeted advertising and strategy for Toyota, says “the Prius is Toyota’s most nature-inspired model and is the ideal vehicle for this campaign. All participants were selected based on their level of environmental awareness and their role in the community. Each and every one of them is without a doubt, a perfect fit for the campaign”.
