Cine Estelar and Cine Nostalgia celebrate Mexico Independence showing special programming in the U.S.

Among the movies that Cine Estelar will be featuring to honor the occasion are La Presidenta Municipal (1974), directed by Fernando Cortés and starred by La India María, Adalberto Martínez “Resortes”, Pancho Córdova, Rolando Barral and Mantequilla; Juan Charrasqueado y Gabino Barrera (1981) directed by Rafael Villaseñor with a cast leaded by Vicente Fernández, Blanca Guerra and Miguel Ángel Rodríguez. Both movies will air on September 15th along with other titles like En Esta Primavera and, México, México JA, JA, JA.

On September 16 the channel will be showing La Captura de Gabino Barrera, El Hijo de Gabino Barrera and, Picardía Mexicana 3.

Cine Nostalgia will be airing on September 15th El Padre Morelos (1942) with a cast leaded by Domingo Soler, Consuelo Frank and Narciso Busquets and; Rayo del Sur (1943), both movies directed by Miguel Contreras Torres; and México De Mis Recuerdos.

On September 16th Cine Nostalgia will show El Mexicano (1965) from director René Cardona with Jorge Rivero, Tere Velázquez and Wolf Ruvinskis and La Vuelta del Mexicano (1965) directed also by René Cardona with a cast leaded by Elsa Aguirre, Jorge Rivero, Víctor Junco and Carlos Cortés.
