Zee Mundo: Our programming is meticulously dubbed into Spanish

The contents of the new channel Zee Mundo, which offers the best from Bollywood, undergo a meticulous dubbing process, before being launched in the US and Latin America.
“We dubb all the Zee programming in our Latin America and US Hispanic division. We channel the programming that comes directly from India in Miami and send it to our dubbing companies –we have approximately eight- in Argentina, Colombia, Miami and in Central America, to be able to have the best and most varied voices and for it to be as neutral as possible,” explains Alfredo Bellido, Operations director at Zee Entertainment / Zee Mundo.
He mentioned that the dubbing process itself takes between three and four weeks, because it is necessary to carry out a casting, titling, translation and adaptation. “Adaptation is very important, because the way people talk in India and the way they talk in English and in Spanish are entirely different, the terms that are used are not the same. It is important for people to have the taste of India, but at the same time, feel it is their own,” he expressed.
For the launching of the channel, they dubbed 250 films and used renown and very experienced voices.
