The premiere of the HBO Latin America original production The Bronze Garden (8×60’) marked the first time that an HBO Latin America Original series is available nearly simultaneously on sister HBO and HBO GO networks worldwide, reaching 50 countries during its premiere week.

The Bronze Garden premiered on June 25 exclusively on HBO and HBO GO in Latin America, followed by premieres on June 26 on HBO Nordic (available in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Finland) and HBO Spain (available in Spain and Andorra), and June 30 on HBO Latino (in the United States).

The Bronze Garden (original title in Spanish, El Jardín de Bronce) is HBO Latin America’s most recent original production, filmed completely in Argentina. An adaptation of the best-selling novel by argentine author Gustavo Malajovich, the drama’s cast is a who’s who of A-list Argentine actors, including Joaquín Furriel, Luis Luque, Julieta Zylberberg, Gerardo Romano, Romina Paula, Mario Pasik, Claudio da Passano, and Alan Sabbagh, with special performances by Oscar® nominee Norma Aleandro and Daniel Fanego.

The Bronze Garden is the captivating tale of a man locked in a desperate search to uncover the truth behind the mysterious disappearance of his four-year-old daughter Moira from the Buenos Aires subway. Without a motive or a ransom request, police have few leads to follow, the father (Furriel) is forced to take matters into his own hands. Enlisting the help of an eccentric private detective (Luque), they embark on a journey that takes them through the dark underbelly of Buenos Aires, following small clues and otherwise insignificant details in their attempt to piece together what happened to Moira.

The Bronze Garden was directed by Hernán Goldfrid and Pablo Fendrik from a script that was adapted by author Malajovich with Marcos Osorio Vidal. Executive producers include Luis F. Peraza, Roberto Ríos, Paul Drago and Néstor Hernández for HBO Latin America Originals, and Adrián Suar and Diego Andrasnik for Pol-Ka.
