TV Azteca: We are strengthening our alliance with Disney by creating the new children´s slot for Azteca 7

Sunday August 13 at 7:30am, Azteca 7 launched its children´s slot together with The Walt Disney Company, with programs like La Casa de Mickey Mouse, Sheriff Callie, Doctora Juguetes, La Princesa Sofía, Junior Express, La Guarida del León, Morko y Mali, Playground and Elena de Avalor.
“Azteca 7 starts a new programming proposal for the 7:30 to 9:30am schedule, on weekdays, and 7 to 9am on Sundays, seeking to offer the audience high-relevance content like the one offered by Disney,” commented Rodrigo Fernández, executive director of Azteca 7.
According to Mauricio Sañudo, general director of Disney México, this alliance “represents the opportunity to share with the audience of open TV our contents and that way, expand our reach. We continue evaluating alternatives together, seeking to offer our audience the best content proposal”.
It is important to highlight that both companies have worked together since 1998, through the alliance of exclusive broadcast of Disney contents in Mexico.
