NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations names Gina Oliva senior director of Marketing

NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations has name Gina Oliva to the title of senior director of Marketing, effective Monday, September 18th.

In a memo obtained by PRODU, Therese Gamba, SVP of Marketing and Acquired Programming, NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations, made the announcement.

“In this role, Gina will provide strategic marketing guidance and support to NBC and Telemundo station Brand directors. She will also collaborate with our cross-divisional and syndication partners on marketing priorities. In addition, she will lead the strategic development and management of all division-wide initiatives and tent pole events. She will report to me and work with Kelly Bohling,” said Gamba in the memo.

Oliva has more than 15 years of experience managing local and national television promotions and sales marketing campaigns. She joins NBCUniversal from WABC-TV where she worked as marketing producer and account executive for the last three years.

Before this, Gina worked at Warner Brothers TV Distribution leading marketing and social media planning and promotion for Anderson Live and Bethenny. Her experience in local broadcasting runs deep. She’s held marketing roles at FOX 5 TV in New York and CBS4 in Miami.

“A PromaxBDA Gold award winner in the Station Branding category, Gina is fluent in Spanish and will help our stations deliver English and Spanish-language marketing campaigns. I’m very pleased that Gina is joining our team. She has a track record of success and delivering outstanding creative work that keeps viewers interests in mind,” ended Gamba.
