Klaudia Bermúdez, SVP and general manager of NBCUniversal Latin America, explained that Mexico is the priority market for the company in the region. “We are making several productions here in Mexico for E! Entertainment and this is only the beginning of what promises to be a great future with more content and many more productions for the Mexican market, which is a huge priority for us” she stated.

The executive expressed that 2017 has been a great year for the company because its portfolio has definitely become more solid. “Last September we celebrated two years since the entire portfolio was introduced to the market, and we have had two years of great success and growth, so we are very happy with the results,” she added. They recently launched the Telemundo Internacional Play platform, strengthening their TV everywhere bet on the five channels.

Her advice for advertisers is to bet on content. “As a portfolio, we have witnessed growth and the interesting thing is that this huge growth has occurred precisely in these audiences that supposedly do not watch television anymore. Where we have grown most is in that millennial group. At the end of the day, they are always looking for good content. Regardless of the platform, if the content is high quality, they are going to come for it. So our strategy is to have and produce quality content, and audiences are going to come,” she concluded.
