Noticias Telemundo will unveil an innovative 360º studio at the Telemundo Center, the Hispanic network’s recently inaugurated headquarters, this Monday, June 4 during its primetime newscast with José Díaz-Balart at 6:30pm/5:30C.

Designed by Juan Ramón Martín, creative and image director of Spain’s Atresmedia Group, the studio will set the standard for news production in the United States, combining modular design with the latest in audiovisual technology and revolutionary aesthetics.

The Noticias Telemundo studio encompasses 3,700 square feet with 45-foot ceilings and a 36-foot, 11-million megapixel LED screen. As Martín describes it, this feature, “more than just another news screen, will serve as a medium for generating different spaces and places.”

The desk where the anchors will sit is designed to transcend its aesthetic function to, according to Martín, “act as a robotic modular set capable of configuring different shapes for one, two or three anchors, or even splitting into three parts for debates. It’s an element designed to break the monotony: It will look different depending from which side you view it.”

The LED screen and modular anchor’s desk are just two of the many features that will be unveiled on Monday during Noticias Telemundo’s primetime newscast.
