FOX Networks Group currently has 30 series in development, out of which 10 are fiction. But that is not enough, they are focused on looking for more ideas for productions. “Our focus is on receiving more and more ideas. We opened a call that closes on June 30, to reach all Latin America and Spain, to receive as many ideas as possible, because they are scarce,” said Mariana Pérez, Senior Production and Development VP at FOX Networks Group.

According to FOX, the development of productions are aimed at the different audiences of their basic channels, but also premium channels, with space for daring content, those that are uncensored, emphasizes Pérez, in both cases, aimed at binge-watching consumption. “An example of the type of uncensored ideas we are looking for is the Brazilian series Bruna, very successful throughout Latin America. It is about a woman who decides to become a prostitute out of conviction.”

The Talent Management Department was recently created in FOX to ensure a talent body that remains in the Company, considered by Pérez as “unique and unrepeatable,” which is why the must take care of it.

“After finding an idea among thousands and then looking for great talents, we must boost this with high-quality productions that can compete, as it happened with the series Aquí En La Tierra, with which we went to Canneseries to show the best in our continent,” added Pérez.
