Youfirst.studio’s artificial intelligence software represents an effective and affordable alternative to the traditional focus groups that channels and producers use to evaluate the emotions contents generate.
As Lujza Bubanova, CEO of Youfirst.studio, explains the tool was designed at first to check the emotions generated by creative pieces. Last year they launched two more versions: one for long formats and another for influencers (Youfirst.ai): “Emotions are a very important piece in marketing,” adds the executive.
Daniel Benaim, a veteran executive of TV in Spanish and representative of the product in the region, comments that focus groups are costly to set up, they have 50% of error margin, are slow to produce results. “The alternative is offered by this product based on artificial intelligence and supported by a research of many years that refers to how emotions can be detected through facial expressions,” he explains.
Bubanova and Benaim said they are conducting presentations with several pay-TV clients, open TV and groups of political advisors in Latin America, among others. The product was presented in the NAB in 2017, and they are currently evaluating to which markets in the TV industry they will take it.
