The Underline Elevates Miami's Urban Experience with Inter&Co Partnership, Introducing Lifestyle Offerings including Community Programs, Bikeshare Initiatives, Coffee Shops, and More

The Underline, a transformative 10-mile linear park and urban multi-modal, green corridor connecting Miami’s neighborhoods, announces a strategic partnership with Inter&Co, a financial super app with over 35 million users across the Americas. Together, they will bring a range of community-driven initiatives to this first-class trail.

A partnership built on shared values and commitment to sustainability, health, mobility and elevating the quality of life for Miami residents and visitors alike, The Underline is transforming underutilized space into vibrant, valuable assets for the Miami community with the generous support from private partners like Inter&Co, modeling a national blueprint for public-private partnerships (PPP). Highlights of Inter&Co’s partnership with The Underline include the naming of three new amenity areas that will be dedicated to enhancing community experiences and sustainable transportation in Miami.

“Inter&Co’s partnership with The Underline reflects a mutual vision of transforming Miami into a greener, more connected city,” said Meg Daly, Founder of Friends of The Underline. “By turning underutilized spaces into vibrant community hubs, we’re able to deliver on what the community has been asking for—safe, accessible spaces that celebrate culture, promote sustainable mobility and resilience and enhance quality of life. Together, we’re not only shaping Miami’s future but also creating a model for how public-private partnerships can reimagine urban spaces across the country.”

Inter&Co is introducing a bikeshare program featuring more than 100 bicycles with docking stations strategically placed along The Underline’s 10-miles, connecting Brickell to the Dadeland area. The bikeshare program will provide convenient and eco-friendly transportation options, offering an innovative and sustainable way for visitors and residents to explore The Underline’s expansive trails and park areas. The bikeshare program will integrate seamlessly with the Inter&Co super app, providing customers the ability to unlock and ride the bikes at no cost.

Aside from the bikeshare program, this partnership brings a series of unique Inter&Co Cafés set in repurposed shipping containers to energize the park’s vibrant spaces. The financial services company has 12 cafés located in Brazil and is now bringing that concept to TheUnderline in Miami. These hubs will not only serve the local community but also provide added benefits to Inter&Co’s 3.6 million Global Account holders, offering them exclusive discounts, happy hours, Loop loyalty program points and more. Beyond serving as trendy coffee spots, the Inter&Co Cafés will host a diverse array of events, from half marathons through the linear park space to Brazilian Day celebrations. This initiative perfectly aligns with The Underline’s vision of sustainable design and urban innovation, creating a unique blend of finance, culture, and community engagement in one of Miami’s most exciting public spaces.

“Our partnership with The Underline is a testament to Inter&Co’s dedication to serving our Brazilian and Latin American customers in Miami and beyond,” said João Vitor Menin, Global CEO of Inter&Co. “With millions of Latin Americans and Brazilians calling Miami home or visiting annually, we’re creating more than just a financial service – we’re building a community hub. Through our super app, we’re offering exclusive local benefits, cultural events, and everyday conveniences that resonate with our customers’ lifestyles. This collaboration allows us to blend digital banking with real-world experiences, fostering a sense of belonging and providing tangible, daily benefits to our community. It’s about being a trusted partner in our customers’ lives, whether they’re longtime residents or first-time visitors to Miami.”
