INCENTIVE TYPE
West Virginia offers a Tax Credit of up to 31% of qualified in-state expenditures (comprising a base 27% and an additional 4% if ten or more West Virginia residents, whether ATL/BTL talent or crew, are hired full-time during principal photography).
MAXIMUM AMOUNT
No limit per project, no talent limit, and no percentage of release requirement. Accumulate a minimum of $50.000 in a calendar year. There is no credit limit per fiscal year (July 1 through June 30).
APPLICABLE PROJECTS
Audiovisual works, including feature films, television films and series, post-production, music videos, and commercial photography.
