Paramount, a Skydance company, announced that it has entered into an agreement to sell its shares in the entities that control Chilevisión, Chile’s leading free-to-air television channel, to Vytal Group LTD.
The acquisition will be led by a holding company controlled by Tomás Yankelevich, alongside Jorge Carey and Edgar Spielmann. The transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals. The sale is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.

The transaction is expected to close following review and approval by the applicable regulatory authorities in Chile. Until that time, Chilevisión will continue operations under its current ownership.

Arnold and Porter advised Paramount as US counsel on this deal, while Cariola Díez Pérez Cotapos and Ferrada Nehme advised Paramount as Chilean counsel. Carey & Co served as legal counsel in Chile, while Bruchou & Funes De Rioja provided legal advisory services from Argentina to Vytal Group LTD. Additionally, 2benamed Strategic Partners advised as business consultants to Vytal Group LTD. No further terms will be disclosed.
Paramount retains ownership of its free-to-air networks in the UK (5) and Australia (Network 10). This sale underscores its continued commitment to refining its global portfolio, with a strategic focus on expanding its direct-to-consumer offerings in key Latin American markets.
