Walton Isaacson has named Maria Robles Vice President of Business Development, leading new business strategy and driving agency growth.

Robles brings a track record of securing and scaling high-value client partnerships across multicultural and integrated agencies. She joins from D&A Communications, where she served as VP of Growth & Marketing, leading the agency’s new business function.  She built the agency’s business development infrastructure and secured a multi-million-dollar government contract while expanding the agency’s private sector pipeline across healthcare, community-focused organizations, and mission-driven brands. She also led the agency’s rebrand strategy and development of a new website.

Prior to D&A, Robles held senior growth roles at EGAMI Group, where she ultimately served as VP of Growth. Over four years, she led new business strategy, RFP development, and organic growth efforts for the agency serving Fortune 100 and 500 clients across healthcare, CPG, QSR, financial services, and retail. She played a key role in expanding the agency into the pharmaceutical sector, helping secure new partnerships with AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson. She also led cultural competency initiatives for brands including PepsiCo and contributed to multicultural insight development in partnership with Zeno Group, with a focus on multicultural Gen Z audiences. Robles held a VP of Growth role at The Brand Guild, further strengthening her experience across integrated communications and business development.

“Maria’s appointment marks an important step in building the Walton Isaacson of the future. She brings a modern growth mindset that blends cultural relevance, integrated thinking, and commercial rigor,” said Juan Bonilla, WI President. “As we continue to expand our capabilities and deepen our client partnerships, Maria will play a central role in shaping a more intentional, scalable approach to growth.”
