The OTT platform Blim continues to bet on exclusive contents and starting last Monday March 21st launched the first three episodes of the series 40 y 20 (13×60’), produced by Adicta Films and its founder Gustavo Loza, who assured that the program was created thinking about the sitcoms that are produced in the US. He announced that on April 4th they will launch all 13 episodes and in a few months, the second season.“It is a situation comedy that is very different from what we normally see on Mexican TV. We wanted it to resemble the sitcoms seen in the US. In it, we tell the life story of a 40-year-old character who is divorced and has a weakness for 20-year-old women. At the same time, he has a 20-year-old son who likes 40-year-old women. More than father and son, they are friends and in each episode we will see their lives together”, he explained. The story, starring Jorge “El Burro” Van Rankin and Mauricio Garza, will have a special guest in each episode, such as Jessica Mas, Mónica Huarte, Raúl Araiza, among others. To conclude, the producer mentioned that the series is planned for several seasons, therefore they expect the audience´s favorable reaction, as occurred with their previous production, Los Héroes del Norte, which will be made as a film. He will start working on that project at the end of the year.
