Adsmovil: There is a great opportunity for kid’s programming in free Latino streaming

Jessica Ricaurte, CRO of Adsmovil, presented a report to show how Hispanics are adopting streaming in the framework of the 20th Annual Hispanic Television Summit.

The talk explored how free, ad-supported streaming platforms like Nuestra.TV can offer the latest opportunity to meet the programming interests of today’s holistic, bilingual, and bicultural Hispanic market. Court Stroud, executive producer and co-host of The Revolution Podcast, was the moderator.

“I think there is a great opportunity for kid’s programming. When we talk about kid’s programming we mean entertainment and learning and development. As marketers we do not sell children’s programming, there is a gap there and what this means is that we do not really focus there. What we see is that Latino children need representation. This has two sides: children need to see themselves reflected on the screen and with topics that are relevant to them,” said Ricaurte.

Ricaurte emphasized that Nuestra.TV entails a great difference regarding what in the market is really “providing content that is representative of Latinos.”
