CBeebies celebrates Earth Day with special programming

CBeebies celebrates Earth Day with favorite episodes of Baby Jake, El Jardín del Señor Bloom and El Mundo de Rosie. This exciting programming event airs Monday, April 22 starting at 9:30am.In his colorful garden, Mr. Bloom entertains children with catchy melodies about learning to care for plants and vegetables, assisted by whimsical characters who make this the best place to learn to love nature. Baby Jake and Nibbles the rabbit, for their part, visit an orchard in a special episode of their show. They sing and dance along the way, finally deciding to hold a dancing contest to see if they can make the fruit fall from the trees. As the rhythm picks up, the apples and cherries join in the action, creating a colorful carnival of fruit. In Rosie’s world, everyone is worried about the large amounts of waste local residents produce. Rosie convinces her friends to collect and recycle the items they aren’t using. These and other adventures are featured in CBeebies’ Earth Day Special, which celebrates the beauty of the natural world and encourages children both to appreciate and care for it.
