CIC Media: We’re diversifying our content beyond non-scripted

Marlon Quintero, CEO of CIC Media, was at Content London 2022 presenting a wide catalog and aiming to do business that matches the company’s versatility, which has offices in the UK, the US, Mexico, and Venezuela. CIC Media can produce in Spanish and English and for different regions.

Quintero’s plans for 2023 are to diversify their content, even though they have been focusing on non-scripted products such as documentary series similar to Uncharted Adventures and Secret Wars Uncovered, in which they continue to develop new seasons. They also intend to produce scripted content in order to reach all types of audiences and consumers.

“We continue to make our documentary series, in which we’ve been working for more than five years, but now with more digital platforms there is a greater demand for content. So we are tapping the opportunity to create fiction and entertainment for platforms around the world,” he said.

Quintero also reported that they already have a couple of productions available on ViX+, as well as a couple more to come. “We have several projects that we cannot talk about yet, but we will be announcing very soon.”
