Control Z has traveled successfully around the world

Carlos Quintanilla, director of Original Development at Telemundo International Studios, who is one of the creators, together with Adriana Pelusi and Miguel García Moreno, of Control Z, from Lemon Studios for Netflix, assured on #PRODUprimetime with Richard Izarra, that he is surprised and thrilled over the great hit of the series that has traveled from Mexico to the whole world, with the feat of being the only one in Spanish that is on global rankings.

“Control Z is here to crown the effort of many years of creating Mexican originals. This is the work of a great team: Adriana Pelusi is an outstanding author; Miguel García Moreno, is also an outstanding author. All this effort was well sheltered by Billy Rovzar, who trusts in and boosts young talent. We want original Mexican talent to be seen, noticed, for it to put some weight on the world,” he stated, after recognizing the work of the entire crew. He emphasized the effect of promotion on social networks, mouth to mouth, and WhatsApp, which is why he said: “If you like it, recommend it”.

Quintanilla has 20 years of experience generating projects for Televisa, Azteca, Amazon, and Netflix. Now, in the position he assumed in May at Telemundo International Studios, he will continue with his commitment to “make fun things, with a message that makes us reflect”.

He shared his current vision of the industry, in which companies, more than compete, must establish alliances to generate Latino content for the world.
