María Elena Useche, president of High Hill Entertainment

María Elena Useche, president of High Hill Entertainment, announced that they will attend Mipcom with the purpose of meeting and establishing relations with OTT producers and platforms because they will launch, on the –YouTube platform– their own channel which they called HHTV. There, they will place 70% of content produced by High Hill and 30% by other independent producers.

HHTV will be focused on the production line that they have developed most until now: the world that surrounds celebrities.

“We have trusted OTTs for a long time, and that is why we shot El Cabaret. We are going to start our contents on HHTV, with pieces like El Cabaret and others that are being developed, as well as with material we have from other high-value productions. We have felt motivated to explore this path because it is the new trend and modern times demand this change,” she explained.

She stated that at Mipcom they will focus on creating connections for this project. “I want to see what type of content platforms are requiring, so that as producers we can establish the goal of working towards that goal, and also make connections with people who are creating content. The world is changing and it is necessary to understand that movement.”

She mentioned that in the future, the ambition is to create their own OTT platform and that they will gear part of their energy in that direction.
