
Bargueiras leaves after 20 years leading the Discovery Networks Latin America / US Hispanic Ad Sales team
After 20 years leading the Discovery Networks Latin America / US Hispanic Ad Sales team, Iván Bargueiras has decided to conclude his tenure with Discovery and will be leaving at the end of the 1Q2017.
“Iván has spent 20 years at DLA/USH at the forefront of the ad sales business we know today, and has done an amazing job building and leading the ad sales team throughout these past two decades. He and his team have consistently delivered solid growth even in the most challenging markets and has been a partner to the local business organizations in structuring an effective and knowledgeable ad sales team well-renowned in our industry. We thank Ivan for his partnership and all he has done to help DLA-USH become the highly regarded business that it is today,” said Enrique Martínez, president and managing director of DLA/USH.
Bargueiras is full of praise for the organization that he now leaves behind: “Over the last several years, I have been focused on further regionalizing the Ad Sales teams, providing the strategy and guidance needed for local implementation and accountability. We have built one of the best, most respected ad sales teams in the industry and I believe Discovery is well positioned for the future. I am extremely proud of the team I am leaving in place to further the growth of this amazing company,” said Bargueiras.
