Zee Mundo launched a new website to perform as a second screen, offering different material that is complementary to the one offered by the channel. The new website addresses the request for information on the Bollywood film industry.
Along with a renovated design, the webpage offers the possibility of seeing the best Bollywood with streaming technology, the latest news on actors and actresses in Spanish, and behind-the- scenes of the productions.
“We saw the big need to create an attractive vehicle to make known what the world of Bollywood in Spanish holds, and at the same time we are in having distribution conversations with pay TV operators,” mentioned Javier López, general manager of Zee Mundo.
“The Bollywood industry and the Zee Mundo audience grow day to day, captivating more viewers globally. Because of this and the constant contact with our audience on social networks, we realized the need to create a second screen with great content diversity. We want to boost user loyalty and offer motivation to attract new users,” added Beatriz Varona, Digital Media manager at Zee Mundo.
The site was created with state-of-the-art technology that assures easy browse-ability, security and constant updates. AV Times, the company in charge of developing the page, assures that users will be able to access the new platform from any device, whether a computer, tablet or cell phone.
