Kanal D: We will continue working in Latin America that is our second home

Kanal D offered in MipTV its renowned series, including the historical drama, Mehmed the Conqueror, which they are promoting in Mipcom, Mip Cancún, and NATPE.
“We are thrilled with the result, it has been very well received, and we have closed many agreements with Europe, Asia, in MENA, and we expect to close others in Latin America,” assured Mikaela Pérez, Sales Executive for Latin America and Spain at Kanal D.
Likewise, for the end of this year they plan to launch the series Wounded Love in Argentina and Chile, and will later offer Mehmed on Latin American screens.
“We continue working in Chile with Mega and in NATPE we close with TVN Chile the format Family Secrets. We are also seeing possibilities in Mexico and I think that for LA Screenings we will have more news.”
The executive stated that Kanal D’s plan is to continue growing in Latin America. “It is our second home and where we must continue to focus our energy”.
In NATPE they launched with Thema the pay TV channel Drama. “We hope that by the end of September we can have the channel on pay TV, and start in Argentina or Chile, which have been for us the most important door for Turkish content”.
