El extrano retorno de Diana Salazar Vix
ViX announced the production of El Extraño Retorno de Diana Salazar, the new original series by W Studios with Patricio Wills and Carlos Bardasano as executive producers, developed and written by Esther Feldman (Isla Brava, El Dragón, Los Ricos También Lloran) and Carlos Algara (Isla Brava, El Dragón). It is an adaptation of the successful 1988 novel starring Lucía Méndez.
Starring Angelique Boyer, Sebastián Rulli, and Arap Bethke, it explores the world of soul mates, where love and connections are so strong that they can defy time and death.
“We are facing an event that occurs every 400 years; the last time was in 1640 in Zacatecas. In 2023 it brings together the best Spanish-speaking cast and a great production on the best platform. After four centuries, we are facing El Extraño Retorno de Diana Salazar,” said Patricio Wills, president of W Studios at TelevisaUnivision.
“We are delighted to offer more than thirty years later a new version of an emblematic novel in a modern format, with high production values and talented stars such as Angelique Boyer and Sebastián Rulli.
